She looked at me with guilt already in her eyes. I already got the answers that I wanted and she knows that within herself. I felt like scolding her but I knew it’s not the right time to.
Me: (forcing a smile) that’s what usually happens when you have an opposite s*x as a best friend. I’m still in some mess myself. It’s just a pity that you are the one that’s hurting the most; because I’m very sure that he will be hurting with the way things are going on right now.
Funmilayo: (tears rolling down)
Me: will you stop that and cheer yourself up. I hope that you guys have not started sleeping with yourselves?
Funmilayo: (shouted) no ooo… I’m still a Virgin.
The tone in which she reacted to the question confirmed that they have not gone too deep. I believed her and show the sign of relief by putting on a heavy smile as I cuddle her lightly on her shoulder; signalling her to calm down.
Me: (smiling) it’s well my dear! I will try to get in touch with him tomorrow. Maybe I can talk some sense into him as he did to me at the eatery.
Funmilayo: I don’t want you to talk to him; he might think that I can’t live without him.
Me: (smiling) I’m not comfortable about chatting a guy up for my sister but I just hate you being like this. I will try as much as I can to protect your dignity and self esteem.
Funmilayo: (smiling) thank you Brother Femi… I’m sorry if what I told you… (cuts her off)
Me: it’s okay. Just go shower, get a nap and try to put a smile on that face.
Funmilayo: (pecks me) thanks bros
She rushed out of the living room with her spirit a little heightened. I will chat Bayo up tomorrow, I just hope he doesn’t see it as an opportunity to sleep with my sister. I will surely kill him if I get to know. I kept thinking about my sisters problem when my phone rang… it’s from Adedoyin. I have not heard anything from them (including sarah) since morning. I picked.
Me: (excited voice) hello dear, I was about dialling your number when your call rang on my phone. Hope you day went on smoothly?
Adedoyin: (smiling) yes oooo, Sarah just received a call from one of the office that our proposal has been awarded. We are going there tomorrow to finalise everything.
I shouted as I showed how happy I am to hear the news. She passed the phone to Sarah and we chatted for awhile. Sarah told me that they are coming on Friday to celebrate the contracts with me and they will leave on Sunday. They made me promise that I would be chanced over the weekend. I ended the call making the promise.
The thought of seeing my lovely Adedoyin and Sarah back on Friday brings a sudden rise between my thighs. I fantasies about both of them but I don’t know how both of them would handle the fact that I’m doing the other. I sense trouble.
I gave myself a lift by picking up my phone and dialling Motunrayo’s number. I can still make use of the little time I have left to enjoy myself. She picked after dialling her number for the second time.
Motunrayo: hello Femi
Me: (voice happy) hello dear! I hope you will come early tomorrow.
Motunrayo: I hope so too but I can’t come early.

Episode 28
She explained that she’s going to see her dad tomorrow but she will definitely come. I was very happy when she assured me that we are going to have fun tomorrow. She ended the call telling me how much she can’t wait to see me.
I’m a very happy man now. At least before my sugar mummies come around on Friday; I would have done two beautiful young ladies. I smiled as I walked down to my room a fulfilled man. I laid on my bed and started fantasising how I will allow the devil to use me when Motunrayo comes around. I was brought back to reality when my phone rang. It’s Bidemi’s. My mind skipped. I just have to hear whatever she wants to say. I just don’t want to have any negativity tomorrow when Motunrayo is around. I picked.
Me: (forming being happy) hello Bidemi, I’m just thinking about coming over to your place now.
Bidemi: (smiling) that’s very thoughtful of you, but we are not at home now. We are about leaving Luth hospital now. Dad went for his final checkup. He’s resuming for office tomorrow.
Me: (happy voice) that’s the best news that I have heard all day. I’m very happy for the Adeboye’s.
Bidemi: (smiling) I’m very happy too. I miss you Femi. Can I come over to your place tomorrow?
Me: (muted with a confused mind)
Bidemi: hello ooo are you there?
Me: I… I’m here… it’s just that I have tutorial tomorrow with Chidinma and I’m going out to meet my mum afterwards.
Bidemi: okay… no problem. Just make sure we see tomorrow.
Me: (smiling) sure…
Bidemi: (smiling) okay, got to go now. My parents just stepped out of the doctor’s office. Later dear.
She terminated the call before I could say anything else. I hope the excuse I gave her is genuine for her to stay home tomorrow. If she comes and found out that I scooped her to be with another lady; I’m in trouble. Bidemi is becoming a thorn in my life but I can’t just imagine a world without her. I smiled as I thought over the childish things Bidemi and I have done. She’s actually my life. I was thinking about Bidemi that I slept off.
I woke up around 8pm… I’m very hungry. I went to the kitchen and found out that the ladies in the house are still cooking. I decided to take a stroll down our street to buy suya to hold on to the hunger for awhile. I changed my tee shirt and I headed for my destination.
I was walking very fast to the suya joint because I locked the gate from outside and I don’t want Baba Custom to get home before me. As I was approaching my destination, I saw the bread seller I saw few days back. My mind skipped as she walked pass me. I looked at her behind and I shook my head in disbelieve with what I’m seeing. I just have to chat her up; maybe we could just be friends.
I rushed after her, shouting sister! Sister!! She looked back with her bread tray held firmly on her head. I couldn’t find my voice but I just managed to say something that came out of my mouth.
Me: (confused) I… I… sorry, I meant good evening
Bread seller: (looking impatient) good evening, what do you want?
The question got me off track that I forgot all the lines that I have crammed.
I touched my leg and did as if something is biting me on it.
Bread seller: (angry voice) what’s it?
Me: (coughs) I want to know if you by any means know Johnson street around here.
I know that she would definitely know where Johnson’s street is located because of the nature of her work.
Bread seller: (smiling) so because I hawk now, you now turn me to your google map. Anyway, it’s just on the third/fourth street from here (pointing to the direction).
Me: (smiling) you are very funny! Anyway, thanks!
Bread seller: (smiling) you are welcome.
She turns around and took her leave. She wouldn’t have taken up to 3 steps when I call out her usual name… Sister! Sister!! She looked back but with a more friendly look this time.
Bread seller: what’s is it this time?
Me: (smiling) I’m sorry for bothering you again. It’s just that I know where Johnson’s street is. I just don’t know how to strike a conversation with you because I can see that you are rushing home.
Bread seller: (curiously listening)
Me: (rapping out my lines) I live down the road and this is not the first time that I am seeing you being this beautiful. I like you and I will want to be a very good friend with you.
Bread seller: (smiling) you dint even tell me your name, it really depicts how desperate you are to be my friend.
Me: (smiling) my bad.. I’m Femi… can I know yours?
Bread seller: Oluwanifemi
Me: (smiling) Oluwanifemi, that’s a nice name. Can I call you Ifemi for short.
Oluwanifemi: (laughing softly) no.. Nifemi for short is okay.
We chatted for like 10mins. I got to know more about her within those period. Her english is very fluent; even though I know how hard she is trying to add some America accent to it. Her construction and the use of tense is superb. She agreed to be my friend but she didn’t give me any other details about herself. I would have persuaded her to give me her phone number but I don’t want her to look at me as a desperado and besides I have exceeded my time outside.
She puts back her tray on her head and told me that she would give me her phone number anytime we see again. I waved at her as she walks towards the direction of my house. I wanted to walk down with her but my spirit dint want to. I rushed to the suya point and bought N500 suya; then walked briskly back home.
I got back home around some minutes to 9pm. I gently sneaked into Funmilayo’s room. She was still feeling moody about her friend.
Me: (smiling) you are not even fine again… I will marry another girl ooo! Cheer up jo!
Funmilayo: (forcing a smile) I’m okay bros… I brought your food to your room not quite long but I met your absence.
Me: (smiling) I went to get you suya…
Funmilayo: (smiling) thank you bros! You are the best.
We ate the suya together and she gave me Bayo’s number. I promised calling him tomorrow morning before heading for my room. I laid peacefully on my bed, trying to find out what I did wrong with the way I chatted with Nifemi. She’s very beautiful and sounds very friendly. I need to talk with her very soon. I was lost in thought when my phone rang. I hurriedly picked it when I knew it was from Chidinma. I promised calling her after she left. She must be very angry by now.
